Art Teacher
Overview
Job description:
We are looking for an Art Teacher, based at a good school within the Dudley Borough.
Duties will include:
Planning, developing and implementing art and art history curriculum to meet learning goals
Purchasing art materials and maintaining the inventory of art materials
Preparing and arranging art materials and art equipment in the classroom for students to use
Delivering lectures to students on art, art techniques, art history and aesthetics.
Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will possess a Teaching qualification (ECT's are welcome to apply)
Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning.
The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment.
Start/closing dates: as soon as possible - July 2024
Interview dates: as soon as possible.
Type of employment: to work 1 day per week on a Tuesday.
