Art Technician
Overview
Job description:
We are looking for an Art Technician, based in a good school in the Sandwell area
Duties will include:
Supervising student progress
Assisting students in cultivating their creativity
Support teaching staff in delivering the curriculum in the Art Department and also in the Design and Technology department if required
Assisting with practical lessons, preparing materials and equipment
Qualifications Required:
Ideally the candidate will have BTEC Art and Design Foundation
The ability to work with basic computer programs, ie word and excel
Will possess a range of practical skills to support the work of the department (ideally the candidate should be an artist and be able to use the kiln - ceramics)
Start/closing dates: May - July 2024
Interview dates: as soon as possible
Type of employment: Part-time, 25 hours per week.
