Computer Science Teacher - Stourbridge
Overview
We require a Computer Science Teacher, based in a school in the Dudley Borough starting September 2026.
Duties will include:
To plan, prepare, deliver and review lessons KS3 & KS4 and other activities to ensure the effective progress of assigned students in the agreed specifications
To teach the fundamentals of computer hardware, software, and programming languages. Experience in the Python programming language will be advantageous.
Grade assignments, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback to students
Developing resources, materials and schemes of work which meet the needs of individual students.
Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will ideally possess a Teaching qualification/QTS (ECT's are welcome to apply)
Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning
The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment
Start/closing dates: September 2026 for one term, will possibly extend.
