Drama Teacher

Job Description:
We are looking to recruit a Drama Teacher, based at a good school within the Dudley Borough.
Duties will include:
Creating lesson plans that are appropriate for each age group
Teach students in accordance with standards
Directing including school plays and productions
Assign work and homework and mark all work completed by students and provide students with necessary feedback, critique, encouragement and support
You will set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessment which enable students to take responsibility for their own learning as well as promoting a high standard of behaviour, test and assignments to support and consolidate learning.
Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will possess a Teaching qualification (ECT's are welcome to apply) preferably in Drama and with some experience teaching music
Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning.
The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment.
Start/closing dates: May - July 2024

Type of employment: part-time, 3 days per week (days to be confirmed).
