Job description:
We are looking to recruit an English Teacher, at an excellent school in the Dudley Borough.
Duties will include:
Teaching English skills including reading, writing, and speaking; composing lesson plans to cover every term of the year
Executing lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content
Engaging students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere and building trusting relationships with students, parents, and other staff
To set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessment which enable students to take responsibility for their own learning as well as promoting a high standard of behaviour, test and assignments to support and consolidate learning
Qualifications Required:
The successful candidates will possess a Teaching qualification (ECT's are welcome to apply)
Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning
The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment.
