Job description:
We are looking to recruit an English Teacher, at an excellent school in the Worcestershire area.
Duties will include:
Enabling pupils to gain a good command of both spoken and written language, equipping them with the ability to express themselves and their ideas in a variety of situations
Teaching a high level of grammar and writing skills
Encouraging pupils to read and analyse literature, improving their critical thinking skills
Engaging pupils and helping them reach their potential through your own passion for the subject
Qualifications Required:
The successful candidate will possess a Teaching qualification (ECT's are welcome to apply)
Experience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learning
The ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners' attainment
Start/closing dates: as soon as possible until July 2024.
Interview dates: as soon as possible
Type of employment: Part-time working three days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
